GVSU Car Show

Last year, Quentin G, Josh B, and Myself noticed the lack of a car-related event on campus. Other colleges had annual car shows so why couldn't this one? We took it upon ourselves to fix that situation and ended up being quite successful. The first GVSU student car show in April 2005 was a hit. We had roughly 35 cars show up as well as another 40 motorcycles. 500 persons worth of food was consumed, so spectator attendence was high as well. The event scored an article in the Lanthorn, and also recieved the RHA GLACURH program of the year award - an award that covers an area of several states. Needless to say, we were happy and have plans to make the event even bigger for '06. Here are some pictures from last year's event:
