A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I am 23 years old and a senior at Grand Valley State University. I am graduating at the end of April 06' with a B.S. in Psychology, as well as two minors in Sociology and Creative Writing. After graduation I am going to take some time off to work for awhile and spend some time experiencing life outside of college, which will be quite a change! Within a year or so though, I plan to attend graduate school and earn my Masters degree in either Social Work or Counseling Psychology. I want to eventually work towards my PhD and become a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I would like to work in a crisis center for teens or possibly even a drug and alcohol rehab center helping individuals get their lives back on track.

In the meantime I am going to be working on a novel I just started writing. It's been a dream of mine for a long time to one day get a book published, so we'll see what happens! I am also going to be applying to graduate schools for next year so that will keep me pretty busy too.

Until graduation, I will be spending all of my time studying for finals, applying for jobs and packing up my stuff- I move into my new apartment at the end of the month and I'm super excited! I can't wait to get my life started as a college graduate! Wish me luck!
