
The group will strive to disperse stereotypes regarding Asian Americans through workshops and cultural events in hope of creating an Asian voice on campus. We will work together and unite with other minority student organizations in promoting cultural diversity. We hope to achieve these goals through active campus and community involvement.

R.I.C.E. Conference

R.I.C.E. is a formal conference that provides an opportunity for members of the local community, alumni, professors, and college and high school students to become further educated on issues facing the Asian society today. The event includes breakfast and coffee, a panel, 3 workshops with discussion, the keynote speech, and closing ceremonies (including the introduction of next year's executive board members). As the second largest annual event by Asian Student Union, R.I.C.E. serves to promote Asian awareness and an understanding of true diversity of other cultures

Asian New Year Festival

Come celebrate with us at our annual Asian New Year Festival. This free event is sponsored by Asian Student Union and Office Multicultural Affairs. This festival consists of extranodiary singing, cultural and modern dances, and martial arts performances from all kinds of ethnicities/cultures. You also don't want to miss out on the traditional lion dance. Asian New Year Festival provides a chance to taste Asian cuisine as well. Get out and enjoy yourself at Asian New Year Festival!

Join us to celebrate the year of the tiger in ASU's Asian New Year Festival at Grand Valley. This festival consists of many wonderful performances such as singing and dancing from different ethnicities. Don't miss out on martial arts demostrations and the traditional lion dance. This festival consists of a presentation of the different festivals around the world, some singing and dancing from different ethnicities, a fashion show, free food and much more. Comedian Dan Gabriel will be performing during the show.
