Directions:

GVSU – Allendale - Directions to the GVSU Boathouse

From the East: From downtown Grand Rapids, follow Lake Michigan Drive (M-45) West towards Allendale for about 15 minutes. En route, you will go through the towns of Walker and then Standale. About 5 minutes after Standale you will pass over the Grand River then come up a small hill. Turn right and go north on 40th Avenue which is just before the top of the hill. Take your first right on 40th. The entrance is marked with a CREW sign. Follow the road down to the river and in the gravel parking lot. You have gone too far if you pass the GVSU entrance on M-45.

From the West: Follow Lake Michigan Drive (M-45) East until you pass the main entrance to Grand Valley (the archway). Take your second Michigan Turn after the entrance to Grand Valley (before you start going down the hill). Then quickly take your first right on to 40th Avenue north. Take your first right on 40th. The entrance is marked with a CREW sign. Follow the road down to the river and in the gravel parking lot.


Lubbers Cup – Directions to Riverside Park, Grand Rapids

From South (coming in on US-131):
Take US-131 North to Ann Street Exit.
Turn left (East) on Ann St and go over bridge.
At the first stoplight, turn left (north) onto Monroe.
Follow Monroe approximately 1 mile to the entrance of Riverside Park at Boat Launch #2 approximately 1/3 mile past Navy Rescue Barracks and Home of the Blind).

From West (coming Holland):
Take I-196 toward downtown Grand Rapids.
Take the Exit for US-131 North (it is a left hand exit).
Take US-131 North to Ann Street Exit.
Turn left (East) on Ann St and go over bridge.
At the first stoplight, turn left (north) onto Monroe
Follow Monroe approximately 1 mile to the entrance of Riverside Park at Boat Launch #2 (approximately 1/3 mile past Navy Rescue Barracks and Home of the Blind).

From East (coming in from Lansing):
Take I-96 to I-196 Downtown (left lane exit)
Take I-196 to US-131 North
Take US-131 North to the Ann Street Exit
Exit at Ann Street.
Turn left (East) on Ann St and go over bridge.
At the first stoplight, turn left (north) onto Monroe
Follow Monroe approximately 1 mile to the entrance of Riverside Park at Boat Launch #2 (approximately 1/3 mile past Navy Rescue Barracks and Home of the Blind).

From North (coming in on US-131):
Take US-131 South to the Ann Street Exit
When you get off the exit ramp turn left. You are actually turning onto Turner. Follow Turner until you can turn left on Ann Street (which cuts back underneath US 131).
Follow Ann St over the bridge and turn left on Monroe (the first traffic light after the bridge). Go north along the river on Monroe until you see a sign (on the left hand side) that reads RIVERSIDE PARK - BOAT LAUNCH #2 [Island Shelter and Disc Golf]. Turn in and follow that lane to the river.

From all other locations:
From Holland: US-31 North to M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive). Turn right (east) on M-45 and go approximately 12 miles to GVSU entrance. Approximately 12 miles from Holland.

From Muskegon: I-96 East to Coopersville (Exit 16). Turn left on 68th Avenue and go approximately six miles. Turn left (East) on M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive) and approximately three miles to the GVSU entrance. Approximately 25 miles from Muskegon.

From Detroit/Lansing: I-96 West to I-196 West (Gerald R. Ford Freeway) through downtown Grand Rapids to Lake Michigan Drive, Exit #75 (M-45). Take Lake Michigan Drive (M-45) approximately 10 miles to campus. Detroit is approximately 160 miles from GVSU. L ansing is approximately 75 miles from GVSU.

From Kalamazoo: US-131 North to the Holland/I-196 West(Gerald R. Ford Freeway). Exit westbound on I-196 to the Lake Michigan Drive, Exit #75. Follow Lake Michigan Drive (M-45) west approximately 10 miles to the main campus entrance. Kalamazoo is approxima tely 60 miles from GVSU.
