Directories within a search engine help us find information by topic. Search engines basically put Web sites into a great, big outline. You can simply choose which heading best describes what you are looking to find. Continue to choose until you are given a Web sit on your topic. Sometimes it can even help you find things that you might not be able to find otherwise because you may not know what words to use in a search. Directories can be a very powerful tool.
