Winter 2011 Bid Acceptance Night
On April 28th, 2000 the Iota Gamma Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity was installed on Grand Valley State University's Campus.
With over 120 initiated Brothers, we pride ourselves on extending a helping hand to all who seek it.
Our Motto: Theta Chi's motto "The Assisting Hand" signifies the importance we place on helping the community. Theta Chi is the only national fraternity whose motto deals with giving to those around us.
Our Maxim: Theta Chi's maxim "Alma matter first, and Theta Chi for Alma Matter" means that our brothers are involved in campus activities but our first priority is to do well academically.
No Hazing: Theta Chi is a fraternity of Gentlemen and has a zero-tolerance hazing policy. We became one of the first fraternities to pass a nation-wide ban on hazing.

Leadership Opportunities: Theta Chi Fraternity offers many leadership opportunities that will help you develop skills that will be helpful for your future, in and outside of the college atmosphere.
Scholarship Programming: As brothers, we help each other succeed in the classroom. We have programs that help those who are struggling and reward those who are doing well.
Our Alumni: Our alumni are very active in the chapter providing us with with many resources and opportunities.
The New Member Program: We take pride in our new member program. You will learn everything there is to know about Theta Chi including our history, founding principles, chapter operations and what it takes to become a gentleman in a college and professional atmosphere.
