Hey, my name is Maria Perez and I am of Mexican descent. My goal for life is to become a CPA and to one day have a family. I enjoy helping those in need and I hope to expand on that in the future. I would like to thank my line sisters because it was them that I turned to throughout this whole process. We have grown very close and our bond is truly unbreakable. Special thanks to my Gamma mom and DOP Marlia, ADOP Matea, Valentina, Crystal, and Lydia my OA sisters!! It feels good to be a part of an organization that dedicates itself to such high values. I hope be a great asset to our chapter and help it further succeed in its accomplishments. Spring 08!!

Hi everyone, my name is Tameka Massengale and I am a third year student here at Grand Valley. I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences and I would like to be a pediatrician in the future. Hanging out with friends, watching movies, and listening to music are things that I love to do. Meeting new people and learning about new cultures are also important to me, which is why I chose to pledge the best- Sigma Lambda Gamma. I know that the bonds that I have formed with my sisters in the past few months will last a lifetime and I know they will always be there for me. I love you all and I hope that it shows!

Hi, I'm Vannessa 'Habladora" Vazquez. I'm a sophmore here at GV and am a Psych major with a Spanish minor. I'm from the Chicagoland area. I love baseball, and could watch it all day everyday. I like meeting new people and talking to people. I love Chicago and plan to move back after I graduate. I love my sisters!!! OA all the way!!!

Maria,Vannessa, and Tameka were born to Sigma Lambda Gamma on March 28th, 2008	The Omicron Alpha Chapter won 8 out of 8 awards at the Chapter of Excellence ceremony which included: The Chapter of Excellence Award, Lighthouse Award, Coat of Arms Award, Founders Award, Highest Chapter GPA from The Independent Greek Council, Greek Order of Omega Highest New Member GPA (Matea Vazgec), Greek New Member of The Year (Matea Vazgec), and The Presidents Award (Marlia Dennis) .
