2002: The GVSU Women's Club Soccer team was formed in the fall of 2002. Record: N/A 2003: Record: 0-4 2004: Record: 0-5-1 2005: For the 2005 season, we joined the Women's Midwest Soccer Alliance Conference (W-MSAC) in its inaugural year. This league represents Region III of NIRSA. GVSU finished 12th in the league power rankings and qualified for the Conference Tournament. Record: 1-6-3 2006: GVSU finished 3rd out of 20 teams in the league Power Rankings, and took 2nd at the Conference Tournament. Overall Record: 10-1 League Record: 9-1 2007: The GVSU Women's club team finished with an overall regular season record of 11-3. The record in division play was 4-2, and a record of 8-2 for the power-rankings. The team advanced to the 2007 Conference Tournament in Bloomington, IN and went 1-1, beating Purdue but falling to Illinois in the second game. GVSU did not advance to the semi-finals. |
