I was looking forward to going to my 5 year high school reunion. When I graduated high school no one knew my name, I was about 50 lbs overweight and I had horrible acne which covered nearly my whole face. The summer before I went away to college, I began to turn my life around. I went on a diet, began exercising and got myself some wonderful acne products which cleared up almost all of my acne in about 4 months. My skin was looking better and I had lost about 35lbs over that summer. I got my hair and nails done and bought myself some new clothes with the money I had been saving all summer. I went away to college a new woman. I felt great, more confident than I had ever felt in my entire life. Over the next few years, I lost the remaining 15 lbs that I needed to lose and kept using those acne products to insure that my skin stayed clear. Being now a whole new person, I looked forward to going to my high school reunion and showing myself off.

I went to the reunion with my boyfriend and was really excited to see who was there and what they thought of me. At first it seemed like I recognized them, but no one knew who I was, so I felt it necessary to have to mingle. The only way I could truly show myself off was to let everyone know who I was. Well, most people couldn't believe that it was me, when they realized who I was. Some people didn't know who I was even when I told them. This really didn't surprise me because I knew that I was nearly invisible in high school. Many people did know that I had made a huge transformation and some of the ladies were even hitting on my boyfriend, which made me feel really good.

All I can say is that everyone has the opportunity to take their life back into their own control and make the changes of a lifetime. Just make up your mind and do it. The only thing that can possibly stop is you is your mind, so set it straight before you begin and you will wind up being someone you can truly be proud of.
