These days if you can save even a penny, you should definitely do it. I have never been a spendthrift as a matter of fact, some might call me cheap. I told her that I make sure to check my coverage about once every 3 months, to make sure that I am still getting the best deal on my car insurance, and several times I have switched because I have found a better deal elsewhere. I told her the very first time I switched insurance companies I saved over $500 per year. She was amazed. She asked me which insurance company I had switched to and of course I told her, but I also told her that insurance is a funny thing, sometimes a company that can save one person a lot of money, may have higher rates for someone else. This is why it is so important to shop around either online or over the phone for insurance. Finding the best rate for you can save you a lot of money in the long run.
