THE IMPACT THAT PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED RETURN ADDRESS LABELS PROVIDE
Many companies make a mistake early on, in order to forgo the expense of purchasing professionally printed return address labels, they try to skimp and save and either choose to hand write the address on envelopes or to generate computer labels to help save money.
Handwritten labeling of packages does not have the same impact that professionally printed labels have. A company that mails packages using labels that have been handwritten is really not putting forth the effort to get my business. When I purchase an item I expect no less than it to come to me looking business like and professional. After all, they are not mailing Christmas gifts to Grandma, but they are sending items that are representing their business. These items should not arrive hand written, they just shouldn't.
And although, some businesses believe that they are saving money by not purchasing address labels, they really aren't because printing up labels on your computer, when you are done paying for the labels and the ink actually can wind up being quite a bit more expensive than having great labels preprinted. Doing this can also save the time of having to print off the labels yourself.
Over all, purchasing gold foil labels, or at least some rubber stamps for envelope labeling, just makes good sense. It is a simple effective way to make a good impact with the items you are mailing out. You can run a very simple business, without looking cheesy by ordering stamps and labels. Believe me when I tell you these items are a small price to pay to legitimatize your business and gain the confidence of your customers.
If I am the customer, I want to receive a professional looking package or envelope when I am receiving something that I have paid my hard earned money on. Sending it in package that looks like it was sent by a little kid, just doesn't cut it. And I mean this for all businesses including some of those Ebay sellers who think that it doesn't matter how the package looks when it arrives. It does matter how it looks it speaks volumes to the type of business you are running.
