The Library of Congress features a teacher section that has a variety of teaching tools including

“Today in History” and “Community Roots” in addition to separate pages for kids and families. The LOC

also provides a number of services and resources such as “ask a librarian” and links to citation sites.

Leading site for up to date information concerning the current events and policies within the realm

Michigan eLibrary – http://www.mel.org

The Michigan eLibrary features a number of databases and search engines useful for research.

Although some of the databases require a login for personal use, most schools have free access to these.
