2004 GREEK LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

In January 2003 we hosted our first annual state-wide Greek Leadership Conference (GLC). Nearly 300 students were present for an exciting keynote, educational workshops, and interesting council based roundtable discussions. The conference was a huge success and we are planning another excellent opportunity for Greek leaders.

This year the conference will be on January 24th, 2004 on our beautiful Allendale campus. The conference will start at 9am and run until 6pm. It will be a truely exciting day and we are excited and prepared for another successful conference.

Schedule
The conference will start with an exciting keynote from Mary Peterson. Mary Peterson, an Alpha Phi, is currently the Associate Director of the Office of Student Life at the University of Iowa. She serves as the Executive Director of Sigma Lambda Beta and Sigma Lambda Gamma, President of MP Consulting, and Consultant/Meeting Planning coordinator for Bacchus/GAMMA. Mary has won countless awards and we are excited to host her at GVSU.

The keynote will be followed by 5 educational blocks throughout the day. Each block will be 50 minutes long and will include topics such as risk management, recruitment, council and chapter management, programming, and other leadership issues. More information of speakers will be available soon.

Registration
Cost for the conference will be $20 for non-GVSU students and $15 for students from GVSU. Registration must be postmarked by December 12th, 2003. Late applications will be accepted until January 12th, 2004 but will require an additional $5 late fee. Please download and complete the application and reserve your place at the 2004 GLC!
