World By Storm- Created by Sunday Matousek

Conceptual Analysis:

The main objective of the web site I created is to advertise my father’s artwork and inventions. It will also help in keeping his ideas organized so that he may use it as a networking reference when running into someone interested in his work. This site will enable him to market his new work and remember the old. It will be crucial in forming his identity as a successful artist. Instead of carrying his bulky portfolio around with him everywhere, all he will need is a few business cards with the site listed on it.

Since the World Wide Web has such a vast variety of users, the audience of this web site could range from any age from 18 and up, and any gender. It will most likely be viewed by middle-class residents of western Michigan who have access to the Internet in their homes. The site will serve a purpose to those seeking art from someone new, as well as those who are familiar with my father’s work. The users of the site will browse the art gallery, and hopefully arouse an interest in what my father has created. The site will have available to them his contact information if they are interested in purchasing his work and information on upcoming art shows he will be in.

content analysis:

In order to meet the objectives of this web site, I will have to creatively capture the attention of the people interested in my father’s work. I will need to contact my father for all of the information and pictures. The digital photos will have to be resized and cropped in Fireworks so that they are uniform with each other. I will have to write a description of my father and work on a layout for all of the photos.

In creating this web site I will have to be very simple with my writing and design as to not take away from the artwork. This web site will have to be updated often to serve its audience with the correct information and exciting new artwork. World By Storm will also be added to constantly because it has to keep up with my father and his creative ideas.
