Grand Valley State University swept the competition in the Michigan Dodgeball Cup, racking up 31 total points against other teams from around the state. Despite some close points, GVSU was able to go unscathed with no points scored against them. This marks the fourth straight year that GVSU has won the Michigan Dodgeball Cup.

Grand Valley shut Central Michigan out, 12-0, on October 12 in GVSU's first home match in nearly a year. Despite forcing GVSU down to less than 5 players early in the match, Central Michigan could not manage to win the point. GVSU's JV team also won 5-1, demonstrating their potential as a force to be reckoned with this season.

In the 2008/2009 season's first match, Grand Valley beat Saginaw Valley 5-0 (5-1 JV) at SVSU, edging out some close points against a competitive Saginaw Valley team.

Fall Semester dues will be $20. Members who have paid dues are invited to closed practices and are eligible for playing against other schools.
