participate with us on and off the field. If it is not your
"thing" we'll understand. If it is, welcome to GVSU Rugby!

- Laker Rugby is open to
all students of Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids
Community College, Davenport University, Calvin College, Cornerstone
University, Aquinas College, Hope College, Grace Bible College, and Kendal College
- Most ruggers enter
GVSU's program with little or no experience.
- GVSU plays teams from
around the Mid-West including; Notre Dame, Michigan State
University, University of Michigan, Bowling Green State University,
Marquette University, Central Michigan University, Western Michigan
University, Northern Michigan University, Ferris State University, and area men's teams;
Grand Rapids Gazelles, Detroit RFC, and Detroit Tradesmen.
- GVSU rugby is an
excellent social life experience.
- Laker Rugby is
a great way to meet new friends at GVSU and other schools.
- Travel in and around
Michigan, while competing to advance to the national tournament.
- Rugby is a great sport
to keep your body active.
