Dear Lisa,
We really like your site and have some comments to help you make it better. You have a great tutorial about adding animation to text with fireworks. We thought your website was an eight out of ten because it was a good topic, the layout was nice, and the steps were easy to follow. The only problem we had was the site had a lot of steps and sometimes when you have a lot of steps you can become easily lost.
Along the way we found that your site was easy to use but we wanted an easier way to transition between the sites, like maybe an arrow. That would also help if you miss a step or need to go back. Quicker navigation will help users when they get lost. We would also use a topic for each step instead of the simple numbering. That way you can reference a lot faster to each step.
My favorite part of the site was the use of screen shots. We are very visual learners and the screen shots helped us to understand what was going or what we needed to do. We think she did a good job of logically planning out her steps because we found them easy to do and will probably use her site again to spice up my own text.
The only part that was unclear to me was what each step was going to do before we read it. We think you should label each step so if we wanted to just rotate our text we could do that instead of searching back through the steps.
We are very confident that we could do this because she has built a very good user assistant site. The only thing that would hold me back is if my design did not call for text editing. You have done a great job of providing easy to follow steps to understanding how to spice up text with graphics.
Good site,
Team Kyle & Mike
