Disc Golf Course

Unlike many official frisbee golf courses, GVSU's consists of a player designed course and lacks the standard chain nets for holes. GVSU's course also allows only 185g frisbee and lighter; golf discs are prohibited. This rule has been established to protect the property of GVSU since the course is weaved through the center of the Allendale campus.

1. Tee shot from Ott Living Center's cement walkway. Pin location is red fire hydrant in front of Hoobler LC. 3
2. Tee shot from Hoobler's walkway. Pin is the painted rock. *Tee shot on this and #1 should be taken with a maximum distance of 10 ft from LC entrance. 3
3. Tee shot from cement walkway between Ott and Weed LC at the red fire hydrant. Pin is metal garbage can located on the left hand side of the entrance to Lower Commons area. 3
4. Tee shot from lower commons entrance way. Person must stay to the right of the curb bend. Pin is metal garbage can located alongside Padnos Hall of Sciences left door. 4
5. Tee shot from start of Little Mac Bridge. Throw goes across bridge and pin is a metal bench off to the right in the arboretum. Bench is located alongside the ravine edge. 4
6. Tee shot from split in sidewalk nearest to the Little Mac Bridge in the direction of the Zumberge Library. Pin is Japanese Garden rock.

7. Tee shot from intersection of road towards Kirkhof and sidewalk alongside Zumberge pond adjacent to the Library. Pin is garbage can on patio. 3
8. Tee shot from patio towards Kirkhof. Pin is lightpost infront of Kirkhof and on the far side of sidewalk to Cook Carillion. 4
9. Tee shot from top of Kirkhof stairs. Pin is the steel gravity ball. 5
10. Tee shot from intesection of two sidewalks near steel ball going going towards the back of Padnos. Pin is the garbage can at the entrance of Padnos nearest to the Lower Commons. 4
11. Tee shot from the base of stairwell between Padnos and Lower Commons. Throw is made down the bridge and the pin is the metal spire in the courtyard. It is considered a ade putt if the disc either hits the spire, or if the frisbee lands and stays within the cement ring containing the spire. 3
12. Tee shot from the entrance to the Upper Commons. The tee shot is taken standing on top of the cement raised circle. The pin is the light post nearest to Ott Living Center's main enterance. 4
