Greetings and welcome to the official Omicron Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc.'s website at Grand Valley State University. Since being founded in 1999, Omicron Alpha has recieved many awards and has been recognized for our many achievments. Recently the Omicron Alpha Chapter has received 8 out of 8 Chapter of Excellence awards and our Sister Matea Vazgec has won Greek New Member of the year. Annually you can find Sigma Lambda Gamma's Omicron Alpha Chapter at the Breast Cancer Walk in downtown Grand Rapids, at Grand Valley's Relay for Life, Hosting Grand Valley's Icebreaker and Homecoming, and supporting other greeks at GVSU including our brothers of Sigma Lambda Beta.

Sigma Lambda Gamma strives to be the premier organization committed to providing a mechanism of empowerment to all women. Omicron Alpha believes in upholding our 5 prinicples of Academics, Commuity Service, Cultural Awareness, Morals and Ethics, and Social Interaction in our everyday lives.We put out many events on campus that uphold our principles and we love to meet new people, so next time you see one of us, say hello.
