My Family
My family has always been a great source of support. I can't remember
a time when my parents missed a basketball or baseball game. If they did
they would get a video tape of it. My mom (Vickie) and my dad (Dave) never
fought growing up. They were a perfect example of what a marriage should
be like. My dad is a minister. He also is a computer programmer and web
designer (no didn't help me). My mom works third shift at Kohl's and is
a sitter for an elderly lady. Not to mention she has to take care of
an eight year old and a just as helpless eighteen year old. Just kidding
Chad. My family has endured a lot. Mostly because of me, but they love me
no less. I love my family more than they will ever know.
Chad is my eighteen year old brother. He is a senior at Tri-unity and
is the captain of the basketball team. I got the chance to play baseball
with him my last two seasons. He's a good player but not as good as his
older brother. He excelled at baseball but his true gift is in basketball.
He has got colleges calling from all over the country attempting to recruit
him. He still can't beat me in one-on-one. He's got a girlfriend, Kate. So
sorry ladies, he's taken. If you want to still give it a try, e-mail me and
I'll give him the message but I'm not making any promises.
This adorable, little munch kin is my youngest brother, Eric. He's
eight years old and goes to school at Pinewood Elementary in Jenison. It's
amazing what a little kid can learn. He is so cocky. I don't think he understands
the concept of not picking a fight with someone twice his size. That
can be a good thing if used in sports or something. But he shouldn't start
something with me! He doesn't like girls . . . yet! He is an sports protégé'.
He gets the privilege of learning techniques and strategies on sports
from Chad and myself.. He is a very talented little kid. Baseball, basketball,
football, golf; you name it, he can do it. He'll turn out just fine. He has
no limit on his potential.
