The following links are meant

you are confined to these sites for your research, but rather look for
more information through search engines and other methods.
http://www.pbs.org/katechopin/
This is PBS's website dedicated to the special program
on Kate Chopin that was originally aired by this broadcast company on June
23, 1999. This website offers many valuable resources, including
an interview with Chopin's grandson and an interview with a noted Chopin
scholar. Also, you will find that the full text of The Awakening
and various other works by Chopin are posted here. There are some
interesting links, but be careful because some of them are dead.
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/ihas/profiles.html#2
This is an informative biographical site that gives overviews
of various poets and writers such as Henry David Thoreau and Walt Whitman
along with samples of their works and chronological info about their lives.
This site would provide a great starting point for research on certain
authors.
