            - I feel that this is the best search engine out there.  I can almost always find what I want with this engine.
        Altavista
            - This is a search engine comparable to Google, but the returns on your searches are often more varied.
        Search.com
            - A decent search engine that sometimes can find what others cannot.

        McDougal Littell Online
            - This is the website provided by the makers of your textbook.  By navigating through this site you will be able to find numerous web resources that coincide with the works and authors that you are reading.
        English Literature Resources on the Web
            - A great resource for conducting literary research on the internet.  This site is full of links and helpful tips that will definitely help you in your research.
        Avalon Project at Yale
            - This project is a great tool for finding historical documents that will go along with literature that you are studying.  Keep this site in mind for research when we do a team unit with Mr. M's history class.
        PBS Online
            - On this site, you will find a listing for "Programs A-Z."  This list provides a weatlh of information on many authors and literary concepts.  You might be able to find some really good info here.
