Learning how to span items and add in graphics was especially challenging for me. That was a very time consuming step in the process.

Another issue I ran into was the switching between computers. At home I used my mac laptop, while in class I used a PC desktop. The problem with this was mainly in the appearance of the CSS. When I switch back to the PC the style sheet has several added boxes and it looses my original formatting. It is harder to organize and understand the CSS when the platform switching messes with the style sheet.

The biggest helper with my code was html dog. I found that it was a good starting point for figuring out how to do things. The problem was, many times I would input the tags listed on html dog and they still wouldn’t work for my design. This took time and effort to be able to get the tags to apply to what I was trying to do. I also evaluated some of the previous designs from prior classes to get ideas. I did this also to figure out where was the best place to put the boarders I included.

Overall, it was a good experience. I wouldn’t have guessed I would be able to produce a design on my own.

The end.
