My name is Jenny Biesbrock.  I go to Grand Valley State University.  I am in my fourth year of college which means that I am a  senior.  To be able to go to college you must graduate from high school and do well in your classes.  There are some different types of tests that you may need to take before you can be a college student. These tests are usually not too hard if you have done well in high school.  I really like my college, I like to learn about a lot of things.  I enjoy my friends that I have made at school.  All of my teachers are nice and are helpful.  I am excited about learning how to become a teacher.
 
 
Many students at my college live at the school in rooms like motel rooms, which are called dormitories.   Some students drive from their homes to the school every day.  I live at home and drive for 20 minutes every day to get to school.  At  Grand Valley there are many activities for students to join, groups for girls that are called sororities, and groups for boys that are called fraternities.  There are many sport groups that you can join, but many students just like to hang out with their friends.

I am studying to become a Special Education teacher.  I want to help students who have learning differences.  Students who learn to read differently,  students who learn math differently, and students who need help making friends, these are the types of students who will come to my classroom for help. I will be able to teach students in Kindergarten up to the 12th grade.

 To become a special education teacher I will have to go to college for five years.  I  take many different type of classes.  I take math, art, science, computer and gym classes.  I take many classes to help me learn how to become a teacher. There are many things I have to learn to become to special education teacher.  I have to learn the different types of learning styles students may have, and how to teach many different types of students.  I am learning the best ways to teach math, English, science, social studies, and every thing that your teacher teaches you now.  I hope that you will be able to go to college some day.
