The Indianapolis Colts started their franchise in 1953 in Baltimore. They won super bowl II and participated in super bowl III. In 1983 the Colts moved to Indianapolis in one of the most memorable moves in history. The colts left in the middle of the night and each truck took a different route in order to avoid being stopped by Maryland State Troopers. Thus, the Indianapolis Colts begun.
