When should
I bring in my flowers?
As soon as possible. The fresher your flowers are, the better they accept
the drying process. For best results, mist the stems (not flower heads), put
in a plastic bag, and store toward the front of the refrigerator
How long
will it take to preserve my flowers?
It usually takes 3-4 weeks, depending on
the availability of the containers. A postcard will be sent to you as soon
your order is ready to be picked up.
Will
my flowers look the same dried as they do fresh?
Not necessarily, as all the moisture is removed from the flowers during the
drying process, making the flowers smaller. Some colors do tend to change
when the moisture comes out: white flowers tend to change to ivory, red to
burgundy, some peaches to a bright pink, pink rubrum lilies change to
lavender.
How much does it cost?
A 50% deposit is requested on all orders. A container must be picked out
when your flowers are brought in. There are
over 50 varieties for your selection. If your container is not picked
up within 30 days, your deposit will be retained for the cost of floral
preservation.
