ok so i'm looking outside, and i'm seeing that it is snowing.
everytime i have done this for the past 24 hours i have seen that it is snowing.
we have probably six inches of snow, which i am totally cool with.
snow rocks.
everyone complains about it, they say its too cold and it slows them down and blah blah blah.
but you know, thats kinda why i like it.
everything kinda slows down and people stay inside reading books and doing things they don't normally do.
we'll call these things 'snow things,' things that people do on 'snow days.'
like yesterday i was sitting over in kirkhof with sarah and i drank some delicious tea and i read some stuff and it was alllll good.
then we went back to her place and it feels sooo good to come inside when its cold and snowy out.
then we made more tea and watched american graffiti.
chris came back too and i watched her carve this thing out of wood for her printing class for a while and we listened to some old records that sarah has.
then i made hash browns!! my favorite!!
it rocked.
yesterday rocked.
i also skipped the only class i had so i didn't even go to class the whole day.
i told you yesterday rocked.
i want to go snowboarding realllllllly bad...
hmmmmmmmm...
yeah so snow rocks cuz you can either go out and tromp around in it or snowboard
or you can just sit inside drinking warm things and reading or watching movies or listening to music, or all three cuz all three of those things rock.
actually everything i said rocks.
plus its really pretty!
therefor snow = rocks!
yeah yeah...
i know by the end of winter i will be like 'ok enough of this shit, its all brown and wet and cold and slippery and everything is dead and faded.'
but then that makes spring and summer even better.
over the weekend i went home and drove around detroit with my grandma taking pictures for my final project.
it was really cool, detroit used to be this absolutely beautiful city and it has gone so far downhill it isn't even funny.
alex and i decided that the new motto of detroit should be "at least the ren cen looks cool" cuz thats pretty much all it has going for it.
so i'm outside of the state theatre with my grandma and this guy comes up to us and is like 'hey what are you doing?'
so i tell him about my project and he's like oh thats awesome, well by the way i'm chuck forbes, i own the fox, state and gem.
and i'm like abwaaaaaaaaaaa?????????!!!!
this guy has put millions of dollars into the theatres and downtown and one of the few people that actually help to make detroit a reasonable place to go.
so he said what i'm doing is 'newsworthy' and he is going to try to get my in the paper.
sweet.
well now i have to get studying for this map quiz.
who knew there were so many effing countries in europe???
i hope the weather stays snowy for a while.
peace.
