As you know, this movie also made my top 5 guy movies. By far Lee's best performance, which won him an Independent Spirit Award (indy films version of an Oscar). Memorable quote: "Archie is NOT fucking Mr. Weatherbee!"
In Cameron Crowe's movie loosely based on his life, Lee plays the lead singer to the fictional band Stillwater. Like in most of Lee's films, he plays the comic relief. Even if Jason was not in this movie it would still be great. Crowe wrote a great script (that won him an Oscar), and you can't help but enjoy and fall in love with all of his characters. Memorable quote: "Is it that hard to make us look cool?!"
Once again, also on my top 5 guy movies. This was Lee's big break. If anyone else played the role of Brody Bruce, the movie would have been more of a bomb than it already was. Lee who was an unknown actor at the time carried this movie on his back. This was the role that he will be most remembered by. Memorable quote: "I love the smell of commerce in the morning!"
Another Cameron Crowe film that Jason was a part of. He had a decent part playing the best friend of Tom Cruise. Although he received little recognition for this film he played his part to perfection. When I saw the movie for the first time I had my doubts. The story was way out there, and I did not completely get it, but the more I watch it, the more I understand its meaning. Memorable quote: "I'm from Ohio, and I'm drunk."
Very few people even know that Jason is in this movie. He had a small but crucial part at the beginning, playing David Zavitz, who recovers a murder caught on tape. He later gets hit by a bus. Memorable quote: "Fuck a duck."
