Mr. President

You may be expecting some kind of regular "intro" of some sort, but that's just not my style. I'm gonna get right into it, so here goes.

I wasn't for the war to begin with. Sure, I was a little ticked with France and Russia making shady deals with Saddam, and there's no call for Iraq to be equiped with nukes, anthrax, or long range missiles. But is a war neccessary to keep peace? I mean, think about it. Wasn't this really about the oil?

However, I certainly don't know what's best. Saddam is (or was, once we decide if he's dead or not) a freakin' madman. There's no question about that. So is the leader of North Korea, but we aren't flying troops in there.
Yet.

I'm sure President Bush isn't just out to pick fights with everybody. But doesn't Don Rumsfeld strike you as the school bully type? Only now, he gets paid to beat up the foreign kids! Just kidding, Rummy. Pal.

And what's with the word 'Liberation?' Face facts, kiddo's, this war's about liberating the Iraqi's about as much as "The War between the States" was about liberating slaves. And I'm not even from the South.

At any rate, I'm still not for the war, but since it's practically over, I'll jump on the FOX News bandwagon and cheer for the good ol' U.S.A. I just hope that this was the right decision.

Look at the bright side: At least this time, we're doing things ourselves, instead of just backing up some rogue regime, which will simply turn on us in five years. I mean, if you're going to do the dirty work, do it yourself; don't just pay somebody to do it. Especially if they hate you.
