VOLUNTEER
Dannielle is currently head of the Advertising committee in the the organization, Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) at Grand Valley State University. She has been active in CAC since 2009. Part of being the advertising chairperson is to promote the organization and manage fundraisers to raise money for cancer awareness. The biggest even Colleges Against Cancer runs is the GVSU Relay For Life in April. To learn more about this event visit the link below.
Since 2007, Dannielle spends a couple hours each week at New Branches Elementary school in Grand Rapids. She serves as a big sister to a third and a first grader. While hanging out with the students she assits them in reading so that they are at the acceptable reading level for their age group. Playing games and chatting also occurs at these meetings. From 2007 until 2009 Dannielle served in the childern's ministry at Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville, MI. Every Sunday during the 11:00 service dance was a group leader to the kindergardners. During that hour the current bible story was told and acted out. Arts and craft activities were constructed and games were played. Check out the church below.
