Welcome to the Grand Valley State University Shooting Team homepage. We are a competitive rifle team competing in the 3-position smallbore and air rifle divisions of the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference. The WIRC is composed of universities from all over the United States.

     The GVSU Shooting Team is a Student Life Club. Our funding comes from the Grand Valley State University Student Life Department, dues, and fund raising. Being a club allows us to compete in most collegiate competition with exception of the NCAA.

     Our goal as a club is to teach the lifelong art of shooting. We teach both experienced and non-experienced shooters to reach a competitive level in 3-position smallbore rifle and air rifle. Firearms safety is a focus, and of course having fun with a great group of GVSU shooters!
