Kent County Lincoln Day Dinner

Members of the GVSU College Republicans volunteered with the DeVos for governor, Tim Doyle for State Representative, and Bouchard for US Senate campaigns and gained entrance to the 2006 Kent County Lincoln Day dinner. Ben Stein was the guest speaker.
Saul Anuzis visits on his College Tour
The GVSU College Republicans hosted Saul Anuzis, chairman of the Michigan GOP, on his College Tour. Saul made a visit to the Grand Valley Allendale campus on February 22, 2006. He talked about the loss of jobs in Michigan and governor's poor handling of the economy.

Members of the GVSU College Republicans travelled to Lansing to stuff envelopes, make phone calls, eat pizza, and watch the Olympics at the DeVos campaign. Braving the weather, the group helped for a few hours.

The GVSU College Republicans gladly accepted an invitation from the Western Michigan University College Republicans to attend a speech by Ann Coulter. Sitting third row for the event, the College Republicans were able to hear Ann's take on the current political situation in the United States. US Senate Republican Primary Debate

The GVSU College Republicans were proud to host one of the first debates between the Republican primary candidates for the US Senate race on Februrary 7, 2006. Michael Bouchard, Jerry Zandstra, and Keith Butler teed off during the debate.

The GVSU College Republicans attended a speech by Representative Tom Tancredo at Western Michigan University. Tancredo is a US Representative from Colorado. He passionately cares about illegal immigration and the negative effects it has on the United States.
Terri Lynn Land's Gala

Members of the GVSU College Republicans were invited to a gala hosted by Terri Lynn Land. The group enjoyed participating at the event with the secretary of state and other Republicans from the area.
Volunteering on Mackinac Island for the Grassroots Fund at Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference 2005
Members of the GVSU College Republicans attened the 2005 Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. The conference, held on Mackinac Island, was a weekend of meetings for key members of the Republican Party. Various candidates hosted students for the event. The Grassroots Fund was working for Terri Lynn Land.
