What is E-Mail?
E-Mail is written communication, perhaps in letter form that is sent to the receiver via internet connection. In order to communicate with someone via email, both participants need to have an email address. Many popular email servers include Yahoo, Juno, Google, or any basic internet server.

My Experience
My first email account was through Hotmail. Then I opened a Yahoo account, because my Hotmail account was getting too much junk mail. Junk mail is unwanted emails from companies that come up with random email addresses and email information about their company.

You can create an account within minutes. Yahoo can store up to 250 MB of information for you. First you create your Yahoo ID and password, also giving your first and last name and gender. Many people use parts or their entire name in their ID. This makes it easier for their family and friends to remember.

Once you’ve created your account, you can create folders to place various emails into. The account automatically includes the following folders: Inbox, Draft, Sent, Bulkmail, and Trash. Other common folders that I personally have created include: Letters, Pictures, GVSU, Jokes, etc.

Analysis
In today’s world, E-Mail has become one most common ways to communicate with family, friends, professors, classmates, and co-workers. Any resume is incomplete without a person’s email address along with the rest of their contact information.
Almost everyone who owns a computer and has access to the internet has an email address. Some people who do not have the internet in their home still use email, because of the ability to check it anywhere. It is not something that has to be done on a specific computer. It can be done from a friend’s computer or a public computer.
