We recently moved into a new apartment with a lot more space to hold all of our belongings. Brian and I currently both work at Sam's Club on 28th street in Kentwood. Brian has worked there for one year and I have been there for three. He works in the Tire & Battery Center and I work in the Photo Lab.
Currently we are attending First Evangelical Covenant Church (a.k.a. First Cov.) which is the church where we got married. You can check them out at www.firstcovgr.org. We have Christian Formation groups after church each week. Ours is the 20's/30's group. There are both couples and singles around our age that we are very much enjoying getting to know. We also are active in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). Brian attends in Holland and I go to one in Caledonia. It's amazing what God can teach you in one week through only a few verses!
Brian is still attending GVSU (where we met, became friends, and fell in love). He is finishing up his last semester of school to officially graduate, but plans on sticking around to help out in some of his previous professors' classes. This will be helpful and beneficial to both him and the teachers.
We also recently bought a new vehicle! It's a Maroon (but looks like Red) 1995 Nisson PathFinder!! We absolutely love it. There's tons of space, which was handy while we moved. I enjoy sitting up higher on the road when driving. It helps me see better. On my days off and I have nowhere to go, I let Brian take it to work or school. The reason we got this vehicle is because we had to get rid of the Ford Focus. It had been a wonderful car, but the insurance was too high and so we decided to end our lease.
As of now, our plans are still to go to Egypt at the end of next summer. That is of course if it's in God's Will. He told us no this past year and we are just now starting to get a glimps of the reason why. God is truely working in our lives and we know He wants us here in Grand Rapids.
