I chose to revise the Grand Valley State University Children's Center website Hours of Operation section.

The website has a child-like theme which fits since it is for the Children's Center. The color and layout are very easy on the eyes and fit the subject.

The index page is set up well. It is simple and is easy to navigate.

As I was looking around the page the Hours of Operation section stuck out the most to me.

Things I noticed:

• The information has not been updated for the 2004-2005 school year.

• The information was somewhat difficult to read because the line spacing was the same between all semesters.

• Everything was pushed toward the top, making it seem crowded.

• It was difficult to differentiate between the headings and the text.

My Suggestions:

• Separate the information into sections, by semester.

• Put space in between hours of operation and the important dates sections.

• Put space in the information itself to make it easier to read.

• Put emphasis on the dates so that they do not flow in with the rest of the text.
