Ø Greek Week

§ Shirt sales for fund raising may count for points

Ø Feel free to bring changes to IFC By-laws to GA

Ø Dean Merkle has offered to help pay for Greek adds in the Lanthorn

Ø Black board for student organizations

§ Looking to setup black board for certain organizations

§ Possibly councils or just select groups

Ø Expansion

§ Vote being brought after Presidents could ask their Chapters

§ These Fraternities are currently being looked at for expansion:

· Delta Upsilon

· Beta Theta Pi

· Pi Kappa Phi

· Sigma Chi

· Phi Sigma Kappa

· Delta Chi

§ Passed unanimously

§ Please ask you Chapters to look into these candidates and find out what you can on these Chapters

§ Two chapters?

· Start with one as it will be hard for one to grow and get chartered

· First possibly in fall and second in Winter

· It takes time to build up, a year would be good to see if that Chapter will be able to get a foot hold

· These chapters are being looked at because they should get the guys that none of our organizations can seem to get

· Most (if not all) of these Organizations have their expansion policy on their website

· Please do not contact these organizations

Ø IFC Mission Statement

§ Needs to set a goal

§ Should contain the word “Brotherhood”

§ Should be something about being “Proactive”

§ The By-laws preamble does contain a pretty good mission statement

§ “Sig Bust” coming up for alumni

§ Date auction went well despite the weather

§ 4 pledges have been COB’d

§ Valentines Date party went well

§ Article about local chapter is being done by Nationals
