My parents have been married for 21 years.
My dad, Terry, is a realtor at Remax in Grand Rapids. He also
is very involved with our church, Grand Rapids First Assembly of God. My
dad is very laid back and easy going, but nothing passes him, no matter how
hard I try I can never pull the wool over his eyes. He has been a great
inspiration in my life. Without him I would not be who I am today.
He has raised my to live a Godly life and not to settle for second
best. He is a great support in my life. My mom, Dawn, is a minister
at Grand Rapids First Assembly of God. She has an amazingly great talent
in signing and preaching. (you will NEVER fall asleep in her sermons!) She
is also the comedian in the family, unless she is sleeping she is always
making people laugh with her jokes and impressions. I still can't figure
out where she comes up with the stuff she does. My mom has been a tremendous
encouragement for me. She is always right there if I need help or advice
about anything, especially my homework. (remember my senior paper?!)
She is truly my hero, when I think of how people complain that they
have turned out like their parents, I only pray I can be half the women my
mom is. I love both my parents very much. Just watching their
lives has been a wonderful influence in my life. I could not live
day by day without them in my life. I Love You Mom and Dad.

Lisa is my older (littler) sister. She also
graduated from Grandville High in 2000. She is 20 years old, marries to
Larry Bassett, has a daughter named Victoria, and is expecting a little girl
any day now.

Lisa works at Remax with my dad as a receptionist. She is
perfect for the job because she has such a sweet voice. Lisa and I had
to share a room ever since we were little until she moved out. I
was so excited the day I got my own room, I almost forgot to miss her leaving
the house. We get along a lot better now that she is out of my room. She
would rearrange the furniture just about every other day, I hated it because
I could never find anything. Now every time I go to her house it is rearranged,
that is about every week. Lisa is very creative and definitely the
peacemaker in the family.

Larry is Lisa's husband, he works at Meridian and Radio Shack. He
is the only child in his family so you can imagine how spoiled he was. Larry
is definitely a talker, when he and Lisa were dating he would walk into the
house and start talking right away for at least 15 minutes. He was
so nice it was hard telling him to shut up, he has gotten a little better
or we have gotten more bold.

Victoria is the greatest. I love her so much. She is so outgoing
and smart, I could go on and on about her. It is amazing how much
she takes after her daddy, both are very talkative and rowdy.

Victoria love to rough house with you, she is a tuff little cookie. When
ever she comes over she yells "Angit" and leads me into my room so she
can play in my makeup. It's great. She definitely gets all
the attention when she walks into a room and she loves it.

Tony is a sophomore at Grandville High school. He plays football
and runs track. He use to wrestle but he is not sure yet if he wants
to do it this year or not. "He's the one with the learnen" as
my parents would say. He is the smart one in the family. He
is getting all A's, only because he is a kiss up to his teachers (j/k). Tony
has a very busy social life he is always out with his friends and girlfriend
of 3 three years, Amanda (j/k) I mean Stephanie. Tony is the
youngest and the only boy in the fam. so you can imagine he is the favorite
and most spoiled of the kids, it is amazing what he can get away with. My
parents thinks he is perfect (only if they knew, right Tony). Tony
takes after my dad being a handy man. He likes to build things, play
with his guns (just don't shout Larry again), beat me up, and lately he has
been getting into his stereo system in his room and trucks, since he does
get his license in a few months. Even though he insists on wearing Brian's
clothes and try's to be my dad he is good brother, I would not want any other.
