In high school I had a blast with all my friends.
Just like in every school we had the clicks, but as we got older
we learned to except each others differences and be able to be friends.
This is a picture of some of my friends getting pumped for the powder
puff game. Powder Puff is a girls football game between the seniors
and juniors. A week before the game we have practice with the football
players as our coaches so we know a little what we are doing. This
was one of my favorite times in school. This was my junior year and
as you can tell in the picture we were all having a great time. I have
formed so many good friendships and life lasting memories with these girls,
it was hard to move on. We were an outgoing group that laughed and
joked about everything.
This is a recent picture of some of my friends at
a Western football game. Starting from top left is Jodi, she goes
to Grand Valley, Jessie, she also goes to Grand Valley
right now but she is going to have a baby boy
in March so she may take a few years off, me! Then Emilee, she
was my best friend ever since our freshmen year, we did everything
together. She goes to Western and is studying accounting.
Next is Kelly, she goes to Michigan State and is studying
law as well, we have a great time talking about things we
feel strongly about, Karli, she also goes to Western, she
is the laid back, sweet one in the group, and last is Andrea, she goes to
Western as well and is not yet sure what she wants to do. She is very
outgoing and out spoken. Even though we all go to different
schools and are all going in different directions we always find time to
be together.
This is my friend Emilee Rose.
We met our freshmen year in gym class. We were on the same cheerleading
team together so we naturally had a lot in common. Emilee and I
were inseparable, we laughed and joked about everything, we got our first
jobs together, we traveled together, and pretty much anything teenagers
girls did, we did. I could go on and on about our friendship and
how having her in my life truly changed me forever. I would not have the
friends I have today if it were not for her. Even though we are miles
apart and have started to go in different directions she is still a true
friend. We talk or e-mail each other just about everyday. I
have many life time memories with her that will never fade.
After I started to date Brian we spent a lot
of time with his friends. I always had a lot of fun with them, I was
fortunate that I got along with them, I think that really helped Brian and
I get so close. Howie is on the left of me, he was Brian's best friend
at the time. We always mocked him because he was always so hyper, he
would shack after drinking a bottle of Mountain Dew! Brian is on the
right of me then Craig, Craig is well Craig, I don't really have any words
to describe Craig.
