Getting Started:
- Open your document that you wish to edit. You can do this
by going to File>open then you can browse your documents.
Anchors
- You want to place your curser and click on the area that
you want to refer back too. (this is where you anchor will be placed)
- Next step is to hit insert>named anchor and this
process will open the named anchor box.
- Type in the title of the anchor then click OK
- You will then notice an anchor will appear where you had
your curser.
- This process can be repeated as many times as necessary.
Linking
- You want to highlight the word or phrase that you want to
be able to click on and move to where your anchor is.
- Next you want to look at the properties inspector and use
the point to file.
- Drag this file up to the anchor.
- Once you hit the anchor you will see that the name of the
anchor will appear in the links box.
- Once this occurs let go of the mouse and your link shall
be connected.
Checking
- To check and make sure that you have linked it properly
you will want to go to the preview button. This looks like a little globe
at the top of your tool bar.
- When the screen pops up click on your link and your page
should jump.
