I am married to Steve Kiekintveld, and we have three children. I like to golf, cook, read, and do things with my family. I returned to school at GVSU a few years back to pursue a teaching degree in math. Our oldest son David, is fourteen and in the ninth grade at Holland Christian High School. He likes to golf, shoot his pellet gun, and ride his Honda 70. He has a special interest in coin collecting. Sarah is twelve and in the sixth grade at Zeeland Christian Middle School. She likes to read, and is an aspiring artist. She very musical, and plays the piano and flute. She is truly a miracle, being born fourteen weeks early, and doesn't have any long term effects from it. Our youngest, Matthew, is ten and in the fifth grade at Zeeland Christian Elementary School. He is always very busy. He loves to ride his Honda 50, shoot his pellet gun and play in the creek outside our home, catching frogs or other wiggly creatures. My husband Steve enjoys golf, and collects Michigan license plates. He works at Zeeland Lumber Co. in Zeeland. We have one pet, a Springer Spaniel named Lexi. She loves being outside and playing in the creek. She is very smart – in fact I have her trained that when she is done playing in the creek, she hops right into the bath tub... As a family we enjoy traveling. We have been to Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, the east coast, South Dakota, Wyoming, Tennessee and Kentucky, along with numerous other places. We also enjoy going to the Mackinac Bridge every Labor Day for an extended weekend.

We are members of Christ Memorial Reformed Church in Holland Michigan. The kids are all involved in their age group Sunday school. Matt is in Cadets, and loves it, this year they are building canoes for an overnight canoe trip! Sarah is involved in Gems, and loves it. I am currently a Gems leader for the 3^rd grade. I love spending time with the girls and helping them grow in their walk of faith. Church is very important to us as a family. I feel that as a parent the biggest job God has called me to, is to bring our children to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
