Karinlyyn Chase (Bridger)
Arin was born Karinlyyn Bridger on Corellia, years after the rise of Emperor Palpatine and years before his fall. She was born into a family with a rich heritage in the Force and the Corellian Jedi tradition. However, Karinlyyn grew up keeping her heritage a secret, not because of Jedi Hunters, but because when she was young, her mother, a scientist, created a device that enabled travel between dimensions. Mother and daughter were thrown through a dimensional rift and ended up on Luna. When Karinlyyn was old enough, she joined Starfleet and after being shuttled between many, many assignments, she was asked to work for Admiral Necheyev and dark ops. She was reunited with her brother, Nylan, and while in her own dimension, Arin fell in love with a young man, whom she bore at least one son (her other son could possibly belong to the young man's twin brother). Since then, the man has disappeared and Karinlyyn, having become the figure known as the Protectress in bounty hunter circles, has returned to her dimension-traveling on the behalf of Starfleet, protecting the universe from threats unknown to them.
