Ashal Vidind

Ashal Vidind is the daughter of Dervin and Mya Vidind, a freighter pilot and homemaker on Corulag.  She was the youngest of four children with three older brothers, Eamon, Matteus, and Corbin.  She won appointment to the Imperial Academy based on her own merits and graduated from the Academy at Cardia near the top of her class.

Vidind served under several commanders in many Rimside units before she was assigned to a ship under Captain Paris Olan.  This ship, the dreadnaught Ankh was assigned to task force under the command of Admiral Vertil Dargan.  During this assignment, Vidind impressed Admiral Dargan so much that when he was assigned the governorship of the Kartuiin Sector, he requested that she be assigned there as well. 

During her service in the Kartuiin Sector, Vidind distinguished herself, putting down local pockets of resistance wherever they arose.  With the deaths or retirements of her predecessors, she rose to the rank of General.  Her skill in tactics and planning are legendary on the Rim.

Vidind continued to serve in the Kartuiin Sector even after the death of Vertil Dargan, the sector's governor.  She now serves his successor, Tegan Dargan, and remains the commander of all ground forces for the Kartuiin Sector.
