Torvin Taylor

Torvin Taylor is the son of Xander Taylor and Alisa Carvill, both retired officers in the Commenoran Defense Forces.  He is their only child.  His apptitude scores on his exams won him an appointment to the Imperial Academy, from which he graduated with highest honors.

Taylor served aboard the Hammer Blow, first as helmsmen and later as a junior officer of the watch, moving up through the ranks until he became the vessel's captain five years after his assignment to the vessel.  During this time, he had relations and later married Lieutenant Marie Dargan, a corpsman.  The pair have one daughter, Kingston, born aboard the Hammer Blow.

After two years of commanding the Hammer Blow, Taylor was promoted to the command of an Imperial Mark-II class Star Destroyer, the Iceheart, and was assigned to the 35th fleet under Admiral Vertil Dargan.  Three years later, Taylor was promoted to the rank of admiral and command of the 35th fleet with the assignment of Vertil Dargan as governor of the Kartuiin Sector.  He took command of the sector after Governor Dargan's death three years after the passing of Emperor Palpatine and is the guardian of the new sector governor, Tegan Dargan.

Taylor is intensely loyal to the New Order, despite the actions of family members to the contrary.  This loyalty has been tested and he has been found to be incorruptible.  He remains head of the Kartuiin Sector to this day.
