December 11, 2002 -

Beginning of this journal is a bit late, considering that I've been running this game for most of the semester that's slowly slipping away.  Ah well.
I have come to the conclusion that Moogle has the best reactions I've ever seen in my life.  He's the only person I've ever seen twitch so much, scream, twitch over the back of the couch, and hit the floor running.  And just because he found out that Batman is Merlin (actually, Merlyn, to be precise) and that Excalibur will end up in his (Moogle's character's) hands.  Quite amusing.
Basically, the semester has been spent with the party figuring out exactly who they are.  Moogle is Rand, Kanani is Min, and so forth and so on.  They have a crew of zany compatriots, including but not limited to Jude Montbatten and Anthony Casper, alias Richard Grayson, Karinlyyn "The Protectress" Chase, and Henry "Decker" Jones, III.  Yes, it's a zany crew, and there are more, including none other than Bruce Wayne, who, in my world, is an elf born in the opening year of the fifth century AD, under the name Caius Merlyn Britannicus.
I suppose it becomes quite apparent quite quickly that I'm paying homage to many things, like Jack Whyte's wonderful Camulod Chronicles and the universes of comic books (especially Marvel and DC), as well as Indiana Jones and the novels that go along with that man's world.  What can I say?  They inspire me.
But yes...much has happened, and not all of it good.  Many secrets revealed, many mysteries discovered.  And it's all my fault...

OK, so it's been forever since we actually got to do anything with this game.  That's unfortunate and I'm very sorry about it.  I'm in such trouble with Moogle over it, but there's little enough I can do when my players get kidnapped and then go to President's Ball.  So it's not all my fault.
Trauma comes to NPCs this upcoming week, I think....wheee!
