A wind began out across Lake Michigan, blowing surf to the western shore. It whistled through trees and town, and gusted around a group of friends outside of Kleiner Commons at Grand Valley State University. The wind was not the beginning, but it is a beginning.

There's something to be said for being a
huge fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books. Jordan leaves such
a huge doubt in the minds of his reader to the nature of the world he's
created that it allows those fans to wonder.
Turnings of the Wheel: The Second Age is based on the
widely-held belief that Jordan's world is none other than our own in another
time -- another age, if you will. In Turnings, the Second Age, the Age of
Man, is about to come to an end.
NOTE: This game is currently shelved until further notice due to scheduling conflicts.
Armageddon is coming. Jude Montbatten and her Warder, Anthony Casper, know this. Jude has taken it upon herself to make sure things happen as they are meant to happen. As such, she seeks out a group of young men and women (well, young is a relative term when you're half elven yourself) attending Grand Valley State University. That is where our story begins.
Along the way to saving the world, this
motley crew has picked up a few new companions beyond Miss Montbatten and Mister
Casper. Two of these are Dr. Henry "Decker" Jones, III, a
professor from London University, and Commander Karinlyyn Chase, a mysterious
young woman who does not like to discuss her origins. Dr. Jones, a
friend of Montbatten and Casper, the group met in London -- he showed them a dig site
near Bath where they were unearthing the "ruins" of a Roman villa
dating back to the 5th century CE. Commander Chase was encountered quite
by accident in New York City, first in Central Park and then at Rockefeller
Plaza.
Much disturbing news has come to the group -- highlights
include Quin finding out that not only is he Anthony's cousin, but the Dragon
Reborn as well, Aaron developing a strange affinity and ability to speak to
wolves, and the revelation that the fabric of space-time is wearing thin around
this Earth and now all manner of strange creatures can find their way into
places -- places like Rockefeller Plaza.
