Conceptual Analysis

My target audience will be mostly comprised of families and group activity leaders. For the most part, it will probably be parents but, in cases where the children are online and interested in the John Ball Park Zoo it will have to suffice their needs as well. So, my target audience will range from ages 5 to 55. Their occupations and income levels will be as diverse as their ages. I will have a wide variety of visitors since all types of people love to visit the zoo. The site should accomodate people who are not very familiar with operating a computer but, not insult the users that do. I would say that there will be more female visitors than male and for the most part having at least a high school education.

The site will function as mostly an informative medium. It will have easy to find driving directions, hours of operation, event times, and cost under a general information heading. The other links will be animals at the zoo, zoo history, education programs, contact persons and information and volunteer information.

All of the above information should be linked clearly to the homepage for easy access. The contact information should suffice any further information a user would be after.
