Great events only come around once a year
"You have to attend these annual events"

    During the warmer days......
           1.  An arts and crafts fair.  There are lots of little, neat trinkets you can find.
           2.  Parades are always occuring.  The Memorial Day parade boasts one of the
neatest around.  The Coast Guard comes in and lays a wreath on the water,
at the park, and at the cemetery, along with music and words of memory.
The Scottville Clown band also makes appearances at these parades.
           3.  Homecoming activities dot the town in the summer.  One of the many
                activities is a sandsculpting contest.
           4.  On the 4th of July, along with fireworks and a parade, the Coast Guard
comes in and does a pretend rescue on Pentwater Lake.
           5.  Many fishing tournaments dot the season.  The Memorial Day fishing
tournament is the largest, with fishermen from all over coming to fish
                around Pentwater.
           6.  The Tour of Homes offers a great chance to see all the old, unique
homes that have been so well kept by the residents of Pentwater.
           7.  The Joe Pike Corvette Rally comes to town once a year, bringing their
best corvettes and parading them through the city for people to enjoy.

      During the cooler days.....
           1.  The fall festival comes around during the early fall months, bringing
with it an arts and crafts fair and bands to play on the villiage green.
           2.  The October fest has entertainment for all.  Music for the youngsters,
a beer tent for the elders, and lots of food for everyone.
           3.  The Methodist Church holds a Christmas Bizarre, whose events include
                Christmas carolling through Pentwater.
