Technology Operations and Concepts: Teachers demonstrate a sound understanding of
technology operations and concerts. A. Demonstrate introductory knowledge, skills, and
understanding of concepts related to technology. B. Demonstrate continual growth in technology knowledge
and skills to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies. |
A/B.
Before taking Computers in Education, I didn’t really know much
about technology. In fact, people
would mention technology and I would shutter.
I knew enough about technology to get by in school. I could make a PowerPoint presentation and
type a paper, but that was about all I could do. I used my computer to edit pictures and
check my email, but I learned most of the things I know by exploration. After taking Computers in Education, I feel
more confident in my abilities to incorporate technology into my
teaching. I learned about things like
Kidspiration, WebQuests, and using PowerPoint for more than just
presentations. Now I feel more
confident in my abilities to, someday, incorporate technology into my lessons
in order to enhance learning. |
