Planning and designing learning environments and experiences: Teachers plan and design effective learning environments and experiences supported by technology. A. A. One of the many challenges of teaching is having diverse teaching methods so that each student can learn. To do this, I learned how to create a WebQuest, a concept web and a multi-media presentation. A WebQuest is a way for students to explore a topic for themselves, over the computer. Click here to view concept web The multi-media presentation is a non-linear PowerPoint presentation that students can use as review or as a preview to a unit or topic. Click here to view multi-media presentation To keep up with the trends in education, one resource I will use frequently is the webpage designed by discovery schools. I think this is an excellent website with lots of articles to keep teachers current on trends in education. Click here to go to my websites As important as incorporating technology into the classroom is, it’s more important to make sure the sources that information comes from are valid and up to date. To make sure all of my sources are accurate, I will use a website to evaluate sources. http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/Evaluate.html I think it’s important that technology is incorporated into teaching; however, I think technology should be used to enhance learning, not just for the sake of using it.
