Social Ethical, Legal, and Human Resources: Teachers
understand the social, ethical, legal and human issues surrounding the use of
technology in PK-12 schools and apply that understanding in practice. A. Model and teach legal and ethical practice related to
technology use. B. Apply technology resources to enable and empower
learners with diverse backgrounds, characteristics, and abilities. C. Identify and use technology resources that affirm
diversity. D. Promote
safe and healthy use of technology resources. E. Facilitate equitable access to technology resources for all students. |
Incorporating technology into
classrooms is important. However, it
is important that all of the resources used are copyright friendly. To do this, I will get resources from
either copyright friendly sources or check with the creator of the source to
see if I could use their material.
It’s important that teachers use technology to incorporate the diverse
learning needs of students. A teacher
cannot expect each student to be on the same level in the use of technology
and should set their expectations accordingly. It is important that students who use
computers also know about copy right laws.
Students should enjoy technology and not be afraid to use it. As a teacher, I will make sure my students
wash their hands after going to the computer lab so that germs do not get
spread as easily. |
